You know, I’ve always wondered – and still wonder – how in the world John Lindh wasn’t court martialed (or militarily tried or whatever the proper term would be)  and summarily executed. Because if what he did wasn’t treason, what is?

Interesting comparison made in the first link, too, about the various media biases floating around relative to taking up arms against U.S. soliders and expressing a sincere religious belief in today’s popular culture. Excellent point.
